The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
